Learning to Be Better

LEXXER works to provide innovative, quality sustainable education solutions. We work in partnership with schools and universities as well as statutory agencies and education boards to provide a range of services. From curriculum development and assessment consultancy to education provision and infrastructure we draw on the knowledge of those who have worked in education and education policy. Through our work with charities, causes and community based groups and through public and private partnerships, we improve the experience of learners worldwide.

LEXUCATION focuses on delivering education services and consultancy as part of the wider LEXXER Dx3 Programme. The dissemination of knowledge is a key priority for LEXXER as we work with academics, researchers and others who posess a particular knowledge and wise to disseminate or commercialise it.  Our knowledge based approach ensures our practice is evidence-based and supports our commitment to excellence in education.

While our primary focus is on third level education we provide a holistic service from the education boardroom to the classroom. Our Public Affairs Team at LEX REX works together with education providers to influence and shape policy. These knowledge based interventions are matched by expertise in programme and project management and logistics, often in challenging circumstances. We have worked extensively providing education in a community setting in post-conflict contexts such as Northern Ireland and the Middle East.

As a knowledge broker LEXXER is well placed to work with universities and academics to broaden their appeal and the commercialisation of their knowledge. Often individual academics wish to use their knowledge to provide training and consultancy in non-university setting. We assist in this transition to a commercial context as we broker their knowledge to new clients and markets.

LEXUCATION also works with those who require education provision as we develop courses and materials working with both the LEXERCISE and LEXIT teams to provide a full range of services.

The LEXXER concept incorporates a multi-disciplinary process, which builds upon and connects up work from separate areas in a way that generates new perspectives, fresh insights and innovative methodologies which expand and refine knowledge of a particular problem providing effective solutions.

The D×3 Process integrates the Discovery, Development and Dissemination of Knowledge and the last aspect is what has inspired our LEXXER Education or LEXUCATION Programme.

Unlocking the Power of Knowledge


Knowledge brokering offers you an analogous capability. This is simply taking an idea, or process or piece of knowledge from one area or sector and applying it to another, by analogy we reach a new solution. These connections are made by our team of knowledge brokers—who create the space and time for an exchange of knowledge which combines the external ideas with internal ones to improve your business processes.

At LEXXER we wish to take  international best practice and apply it to Northern Ireland in order to develop it as a world leading Knowledge Economy. While some sectors like engineering, bio-technology and IT are already quite well advanced with important partnerships between business and local universities, others have yet to discover the potential.

Therefore we wish to focus on what is known as the Third Sector – community and voluntary groups charities and not for profit organisations, which is well developed and has achieved much in the wake of recent conflict, however decades of accumulated knowledge and experience is often lost when projects stop, funding is not secured or staff move on.
