Digital Skills for Heritage: Developing digital leadership

As part of our own knowledge building work we took part in an exciting and informative webinar on digital leadership. Focused on the heritage sector and provided by our friends at the National Lottery Heritage Fund the event gave an insight into the role of digital leadership in this sector.

As we work with clients whose heritage projects are becoming more digitalised and now in light of COVID we see an acceleration in this trend we want to keep ahead of this curve.

What is this webinar about?
Is your organisation’s leadership confident when it comes to digital?

The opportunities of applying digital technologies and strategies to your work can be huge. But it’s a fast-changing, multi-layered environment that can be a challenge for many organisations to exploit – now more than ever.

As in most other sectors, heritage’s leaders now need to fundamentally redesign their organisations for them to survive. Being a successful leader in the 2020s requires someone to be as capable and confident with digital as they are able to write and add up.

This webinar is delivered by the team running Leading the Sector course for our Digital Skills for Heritage initiative. They will look at what digital leadership means in a heritage context and why it matters.

Is this webinar you will:

  • Discover a way of framing your approach to digital skills and knowledge
  • Have an open conversation about the application of that approach in your heritage organisation
  • Discover resources to support you going forward.

Who is this webinar for?
For organisations interested in developing digital leadership skills and looking for tips on how to get started.
